eXperience Architecture (XA): Space as a Medium of Communication

XA stands as an innovative interdisciplinary graduate research lab situated within the Department of Architecture at Sungkyunkwan University. Students pursuing XA are forward-thinking individuals who aim to MA/PhD of architectural design to design experiences for individuals in both digital and physical environments. XA provides graduate students exposure to diverse aspects of architectural design studies, encompassing architecture, design, representation, writing, and digital rhetoric. This comprehensive approach allows XA students to participate in a variety of careers.

As a dynamic and pertinent field of architectural design research, XA capitalizes on the increasing demand for people-centric experiences within the convergence of technologies, services, and processes. Given the ongoing evolution of the AI  and digital technologies, XA has become an indispensable professional field to keep pace with the rapid developments in the digital environment.
